Bubble fun

Jayden has severe learning disabilities and before he got a bubble tube from the Sunshine Fund, found it difficult to concentrate.

Jayden’s parents applied to the Sunshine Fund for the bubble tube after they saw Jayden interact with a similar machine at his school.

His mother, Lyndsay, told us some more about it:

“When he plays with it there is instant reaction. If he presses it more bubbles appear or the colour changes and he really gets into it.

“Before we got the bubble machine he found it difficult to concentrate but he really reacts well to this and we have noticed an improvement … we’ve really seen a difference and he has started to have better play with his other toys as well. We got it for him at Christmas … I think it was his favourite present!”

Jo Harris, Sunshine Fund manager, said: “We are delighted little Jayden enjoys the bubbles so much and that they are helping him to develop as well. We realise equipment like this make a big difference to families’ lives and we are only too pleased to be able to help out.”
