She’s in the pink with her new trike

Caroline is a huge fan of the colour pink and is delighted with her new trike.

Caroline has mild cerebral palsy and finds it difficult to walk long distances. She had tried riding a bike before, but couldn’t keep her feet on the pedals. She couldn’t go out when her friends were on their bikes, and felt that she was missing out.

Her mum applied to the Sunshine Fund for the trike and she is pleased she did, as she says Caroline is a lot happier.

“She has trouble with her ankle, so we hope that the trike will help strengthen it and give her lots of exercise”
