Bupa Great North Run

This year’s 30th Great North Run is on Sunday 19th September, and we would love you to run for the Evening Chronicle Sunshine Fund!
A lot of the equipment that we purchase helps disabled children in the North East to take part in sporting activities that they otherwise may not be able to fully participate in. In the last year we awarded grants for trikes, tandem bikes and lightweight wheelchairs to individuals, a team of basketball wheelchairs to Percy Hedley, and a team of football wheelchairs to the South Tyneside Football Trust.
You could help us to provide even more equipment, just by taking part in the Great North Run.
To obtain your place simply, complete and return the enclosed application form. All we ask is that you pledge to raise £300 in sponsorship and provide £45 administration fee with your application.
This year our places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis on receipt of application forms. Successful entrants will be notified by email once the administration fee has been received.
To help you with your training we can offer you a free Sunshine Run place – the annual summer 5km fun run.
Hopefully, your participation in the BUPA Great North Run 2010 will make a real difference to those disabled children and their families who so desperately need our support.
