How to Apply for a Grant

How to Apply
By completing an application form and including:-

• background information on what the grant is for, the needs of the child and the direct benefits the grant will bring
• a written estimate from the supplier
• two professional recommendations* (e.g. social services, health authority, Barnados, etc)

* Unfortunately we have had to delay and even turn down a number of applications due to unsatisfactory information in letters of recommendation.

Letters of recommendation only need to be short, but must convey why, in the writers' professional opinion, they think that the applicant would benefit from the grant.

We do not need to receive in-depth medical assessments or reports. They will not be taken into consideration or presented to the committee.
